The Butterfly Effect WorkshopIntroductionThe Butterfly Effect Workshop was developed after discovering that the core beliefs we put in place in the first 20 years of our lives to keep us safe are the very ones that hold us back by keeping us from venturing beyond our comfort zones.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN...
Let me start at the beginning - it was in February of 2004, aged 65 and four months, that I had a lumpectomy and underwent thirty radium treatments. I continued to go for various tests and to see my oncologist regularly, but by July of 2006, I was feeling very tired and an MRI was the way to go. It was found that the cancer had spread to my lungs. I underwent both a colonoscopy and a gastroscopy and the diagnosis was confirmed.
On the recommendation of a lady in the complex where I worked, I commenced taking the following natural products: Cape Bush Willow Bark (combretum caffrum) Powder; Tumeric; Magnesium-oxide and Vitamin C Powder, and kept myself alkaline by taking Bicarbonate of Soda twice daily in a little fruit juice, prescribed by Dr R Muller a retired oncologist and presently running Bethesdasa Holistic Centre in East London..
My oncologist advised that I had six months to live if I left things as they were and maybe 18 months if I underwent a six-month course of the oral chemotherapy drug, Xeloda. Dr Muller advised that it was safe to continue with the chemo as well as his medication, though he did not believe in chemotherapy. I commenced the Xeloda tablets on 2 September 2006. By December 2006, I really felt awful, my legs were aching so much; they sent me for a brain scan - that came back negative. However, a sonar of my legs taken on 6 December 2006 reflected deep vein thrombosis. Xeloda now was a no go and warfarin was prescribed. At a subsequent appointment, I was told I had water in the linings of my lung that needed to be drained. This I undertook on 17 May 2007. I spent five days, three of them in intensive care, at the Chris Barnard Memorial Hospital and came out so debilitated and weak that I was unable to return to work.
Since May 2007's operation I have never really physically recovered to the state that I was in before the operation. I have put on weight all around my stomach, which I hope to lose soon.
I subscribe to an internet newsletter, Soulgroup that sends out monthly inspirational newsletters, written by Mary-Ann Dummer. It is in memory of Renee Prinsloo who died of breast cancer in December 2005. The newsletter is in the same format as written by Renee and I felt cold chills run down my spine. I e-mailed Mary-Ann asking, "Who are you, what are you and where are you"? She returned my e-mail and I rang her up. After a wonderful conversation, during which I told her of my illness, she advised me to go and see Dr Yvette de Villiers PhD Metaphysics, practicing at the LightWise Wellbeing Centre at 39 Kloof Street, Gardens, Cape Town.
My first appointment with Yvette was in November of 2007. I have had five subsequent sessions with her and four sessions on the SCIO Energetic Balancing Machine. This is a quantum physics machine, designed to evaluate and rebalance the frequencies within stressed areas the body to its normal state of health and well-being.
It is now March 2008 - my eighteen months' sentence has elapsed and it is four years and one month since the lumpectomy - I am alive!
May you too be blessed with the care and understanding that I have been privileged to receive from the dedicated practitioners at LightWise Wellbeing.

Journey of the soul...
What I like to share with you today is a story that took me 23 years to figure out.
A story I have only recently felt confident enough to tell to others, although I feel there are parts of it that I am still learning to fully understand,
